REBECCA CASEY- OWNER – PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP TRAINING COACH
In 2014 I went on a mission to Strive to be the best version of me as I could! My marriage ended, my career was at a dead end after having my third amazing child! It was at this point I decided to make some positive changes not only to my own health and fitness but to re-train and to start a completely new life in the Fitness World!
My vision when I started was to create an environment that empowers people to live better lives. I have seen first hand the difference in someone’s life when they have the energy, health, and confidence they deserve.
And I’ve seen what happens when they don’t… how much that costs them – lost time, experiences, opportunities, and simply happiness that they will never get back.
I often think about my ‘Why’ and it has always been to give people the tools to turn their life around. I spent 10 years of my Adult life feeling fat, unattractive, and doubting myself. I spent so long sitting around wanting to change something but never being able to do it. Once I did, my whole life changed and I’ve never looked back.
This is why I started Strive2BFIT. My mission is to help others do the same and reach their own full potential! To empower others to make huge positive changes in their lives and to strive to be the best version of themselves possible.
I love my business, the people, the place we train at! My dream became a reality on the 12th October 2020 when I opened the doors to my Fitness Studio! Here we have Group Training and Personal Training – I am dedicated to providing quality classes and to keep the “Personal” in the training offered. Quality coaches who are qualified and experienced, no ego’s, no selfies, just plain old work hard mentality with awesome local Kapiti men and women!
Andre Mouton – PERSONAL TRAINER & Group Training Coach
From a young age I’ve always had a love for sport and all the training involved. Playing senior and club rugby I quickly transitioned to mixed martial arts where I competed at club championships and various promotions on an amateur level.
With experience and qualifications in combat sports and various training methods I’ve always loved to not challenge only myself mentally and physically but to help and support others to do the same. A healthy body walks hand in hand with a healthy mind.

JORDAN HANSEN – GROUP TRAINING COACH
WIOLA LIVINGTON- GROUP TRAINING COACH & PERSONAL TRAINER
I’m a qualified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, having most recently completed the Metafit coaching certification. Since completing a master’s degree in Pedagogy of Health & Rehabilitation in 2005 I have worked in the health and fitness industry in UK and New Zealand. I always had have big passion to fitness and I’m training since teenager to now. I also nearly completed my Police industry here in New Zealand, but the fitness industry won . I’m really excited to be working at Strive2BFit and with our awesome coaching team. I’m happy to see results and build confidence in people with their strength and health.
When I’m not teaching at Strive2BFit you might find me out fishing, at the gym, or biking around our amazing Kapiti region. My passion is sharing my love of all things fitness and health with anyone and everyone. Some of my speciality areas are: Gym correction, massage, Circuits, KB’s and lifting weights. I have also coached group seniors in past.

SARA HAMER – PERSONAL TRAINER & Group Training Coach
Sara began weightlifting at 50, proving that it’s never too late to embrace a healthier, stronger lifestyle. With a passion for weightlifting and a firsthand understanding of its transformative power, she can guide you to newfound strength, resilience, and self-belief. Age really is just a number and the possibilities for growing stronger and fitter are limitless!I Sara is passionate about helping other people gain confidence and reach for goals they never thought they could.
She has over 30 years of adult teaching behind her, and she holds the National Certificate in Personal Training.
Vanessa Roberts – PERSONAL TRAINER & Group Training Coach
I am a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach who is passionate about working with people and supporting them to achieve their health and fitness goals. My goal is to empower my clients with the knowledge and skills to perform exercises with confidence through learning the correct technique and form as I believe that mastering technique is fundamental to achieving optimal results and preventing injuries.
My approach to training is centred around creating personalised training programs that are tailored to your specific needs and goals whether that be gaining muscle, improving your strength and endurance, improving mobility, weight loss or simply looking to improve your overall health and fitness.
As your personal trainer, I will aim to create a training environment where you feel confident, comfortable, and supported and provide you with the necessary accountability and guidance to support you in achieving your goals.
JEROEN MATTHEUS- PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Originally from Belgium, I graduated as a physiotherapist almost 9 years ago. In 2021, I made the move with my partner to live and work in New Zealand. 2 years later, I founded The Running Collective. My clinic is based in the building of Strive2Bfit in 5 Sheffield Street. As the name of my company suggests, I’m an avid runner myself and I love treating fellow runners recovering from an injury. Besides that, I help runners achieve their running goals by providing them with a personalised training plan.
Not-runners are obviously more than welcome in my practice too! Next to the injuries a physiotherapist usually treats such as muscle sprains, fractures and back problems, I also treat less common problems like concussions, jaw problems, and painful scar tissue. I treat patients who have sustained an ACC injury as well as private injuries.
My initial appointments usually take 1 hour as I really want to find the root of your problem and not just treat your symptoms. Using NeuroKinetic Therapy, I look for (muscle) imbalances in the body and treat them accordingly. With my holistic and hands-on approach, I will help you get back on track so you can enjoy life confidently & pain free.
